Before You Book

My Approach
My approach weaves multiple, often interlaced, strands. As a trauma therapist, I offer talk therapy informed by internal family systems (IFS), and emotion-focused therapy (EFT). To supplement our work, somatic interventions may be used to promote awareness and relaxation. Together, these methods gently access the protective “parts” of ourselves and support the healing of attachment wounds.
The most fulfilling part of my is work is guiding each client, often with humour, to their own a-ha moments.

Sign #4: You can calmly engage in the healing process.
Signs We May Not Be a Good Fit

How We’ll Plan Future Sessions
Future sessions are decided at your own pace. Clients who struggle on a daily basis often find weekly or bi-weekly sessions the most useful as they can help reduce the intensity, frequency, and duration of their pain within a shorter time period. Tri-weekly and monthly sessions are generally more beneficial to those who feel safer within themselves and are looking for support that is ongoing rather than immediate. For extra support, I offer extended (2-hour) and twice-weekly sessions.
Note: We will evaluate your overall progress every so often to assess treatment direction and fit.
